Antwerp

ph/ Fijalyn

Today, I've been to Antwerp with my arts class. We visited a new museum called MAS and we've wandered around Antwerp, while making a photography assignment. Below, the pictures made at the museum as well as some pictures of Antwerp.

Above a picture of the MAS museum. The architecture of the building is really weird and renewing. The building is made out of stones, specially imported from India and Italian glass.
Around the exterior of the building, little silver hands are attached. You can buy a hand for 1000 euro to support the MAS museum financialy.

What are you looking at?
1. The silver hands attached to the exterior of the MAS
2. Belgian artist experimenting with east-indian ink
3. Art at MAS
4. Dress made out of the shields of Thai beetles
5. View from the MAS at Antwerp
6. Old versus new
7. A huge hand, trademark of Antwerp

We also did a photography assignment in the centre of Antwerp.
I'll show you my 5 pictures in the next post!

Lots of love, Liselot
